Community Town Hall on Violence, Dehumanization, and Where We Go From Here

  • JAMES E. SNOW BUILDING COMMUNITY CENTER 302 South Front Street Dowagiac, MI, 49047 United States (map)

Political violence has been in the news as Americans wrestle with our history of violence and the nihilism that is running rampant today.

Just in the last 5 years we have seen an attack on our nation's capital, an American funded genocide in Gaza, countless mass shooting events, the removal of civil rights, multiple assassinations and assassination attempts on elected officials, terrorizing ICE raids and occupations, and the murder of a political pundit.

How do we make sense of this moment? And, more importantly, what can we do? I am excited to be hosting a community conversation where we'll be discussing violence, dehumanization, and where we go from here.

The Community Conversation will be on October 14th from 6pm-8pm at the James E. Snow Community Room in Dowagiac, 302 S Front Street.
